One Man Volleyball Team! TestimoniesMorgantown High School 109 Wilson Avenue, Morgantown, West Virginia 26501 Phone: 304.291.9260 Fax: 304.291.9263 December 5, 2000 Regarding Bob Holmes "The one man volleyball team" Morgantown High School had the privilege of hosting Bob Holmes "The one man volleyball team." Bob held the attention of 1667 students. When Bob spoke you could hear a pin drop. It is unusual that such a large student body could pay so close attention to a speaker. I was hesitant to give up class time. How wrong I was. In today's world, violence, suicide and drug usage are commonplace. Bob's message touched on all those topics and captivated my student body. I strongly urge you to consider Bob for future assemblies. You will be impressed by his demeanor and effectiveness. Sincerely, John A. George Principal ============================================= East Carolina University Associate Athletic Director for Administration Greenville, NC 27858-4353 Phone: 919.328.4503 To Whom it may Concern: Bob Holmes presented his "One-Man" Volleyball Show for the student-athletes at East Carolina University on March 25, 1998. The Bob Holmes performance on the volleyball court is absolutely incredible, but the message that he brings to youth is even more powerful. Bob Holmes brings a message relative to the dangers and destructive results associated with the abuse of alcohol, drugs and sex that is influential in the lives of our young people. The support of the Bob Holmes' program is an investment in the promotion of the well being of our youth. I have never witnessed a more powerful presentation than that of Bob Holmes. He is absolutely fantastic. When the SADDChapter told Mascoma about you, the one man volleyball team, people were skeptical. They did not believe that one person could beat a group of people at volleyball. A week went by after you came, and the students here at Mascoma were still talking about Bob Holmes, the one man volleyball team. They were amazed at how good you really are. Again, thank you for your time and for coming to Mascoma. We all enjoyed you. Hope to see you again in the future. Sincerely, Mascoma SADD Chapter ============================================= South Rowan Guidance Department 1655 Patterson Street China Grove, NC 28023 Phone: 704.857.1161 To potential Sponsors / Corporate Sponsors, Thank you for the opportunity of responding to Bob Holmes' visit to our campus last March 23rd. On that morning Bob held the attention of over 1500 students for almost ninety minutes. His skill on the volleyball court, as a one man team, was surpassed only by the message that he connected our students to...it was alcohol and drug free prom promise week. Bob tied valued principles of life to the principles of competing in sports and the classroom with positive character traits. He was spectacular and we would recommend him to any school or organization. Sincerely, Perry Bradshaw Guidance Interested in having Bob Holmes play and speak to your organization?
