Volleyball Time Outs


Volleyball time outs can be used to rest and refresh players, prevent alignment violations, and break the momentum of the opposing team.

53. T F Only the playing captain can call for a time out.

54. T F Teams are allowed only 3 time outs per game.

55. T F Teams may use time outs back-to-back without a resumption of play in between.

56. T F If the team calling a time out doesn't use the full time out and returns to the floor before the 60 seconds expire, the other team cannot use the full 60 seconds and must return also.
